General Summary:
Information Services is searching for a PC/MAC Technician to join the Genius Squad at the Loop Campus. The Technician will provide technology answers, consulting, and support for DePaul students.
The PC/MAC Technician will function as an independent expert on software, hardware, and general technology information. The Technician will be capable of researching technology problems using the internet, finding solutions to attempt, and applying solutions in a professional manner. Job responsibilities include data recovery, operating system recovery/installation, and multi-vendor hardware replacement/upgrades.
Technicians are scheduled to work between the hours of 9AM and 6PM, Monday through Friday. It is a part-time position that pays $10/hr.
Requirements:
- Candidates should have their A+ certifications or equivalent experience
- Flexible working hours
- PC/MAC troubleshooting skills/experience is a must
- Be able to work independently and efficiently
- Must possess good communication skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
