Edelman Chicago's Production Team is part of the US Creative group. The team works on such projects as online video production, employee communications and overviews, presentation support, sales tools, demonstration and how-to videos, highlights reels, flashcasts, podcasts, b-rolls, RNRs and SMTs.
The trainee must be able to work effectively in a business environment. S/he must have good organizational skills and the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments and deadlines. S/he must have solid knowledge of MS Office Suite. In addition, s/he must have good verbal and written communication skills. The trainee must also have experience and knowledge in:

Low budget first-time filmmaker looking to recruit students or recent graduates. Opportunity to work on low budget production of a comedy video pilot(s) of roughly 20 minute duration. Ultimate goal would be to market to production companies and studios. All skills necessary for producing a video. This includes acting, digital camera recording and editing, comedy-writing and editing, sound recording and editing, and lighting. May also have need for someone with cartoon animation experience Solid experience in achieving near professional results required for any of these areas. Also, anyone with experience in producing viral videos for the internet (especially youtube and major comedy websites), and achieving success in attracting thousands of views or hits should also apply. We expect to hire a team, so each hire doesn't have to have experience in all areas. It would help if applicant has equipment, but not required.

Interns will be responsible for assisting the producers and crew with all phases of production. This may include but is not limited to researching current events, assisting with studio and field shoots, being a production assistant at sporting events, logging field footage, writing copy and other administrative tasks. Interns may have the opportunity to write and produce a show. Interns are required to attend all live sporting events that usually occur on the weekends.
