Position Overview
The Support Technician is responsible for the support and maintenance of software and hardware aspects of various systems implemented on-site.
Qualifications and Physical/Mental Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the U.S.
Work is performed indoors with moderate temperatures controlled by the hotel environmental systems. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours at a time. Degree or Certification in I.T. related study is highly desirable.
Specific Position Requirements
Ability to multi-task and work independently against a list of performance and quality standards. Minimum of two years experience with system support related position. Must be knowledgeable with hotel related systems and computer literate.
Position Responsibilities
Assist with Director of I.T. with system support and maintenance plans to ensure server backups are performed, tested and maintained.
Perform quarterly software and hardware audits to confirm licensing and security conformity.
Review and assist with helpdesk ticket resolution.
Prepare system reports on a weekly/monthly/as-needed basis.
Monitor and maintain network equipment and security.
Assist with vendor support and software upgrades/troubleshooting.
Provide end-user support for terminal related issues.
Assist in maintaining user accounts and system security groups.
Assist with various system update/support/closing procedures.
Assist the Director of I.T. in any other duties as need. Perform other special projects as assigned.
License/Certificate
Certification in an I.T. related discipline is highly desirable.
