We have internship opportunities available all year round. The next Interactive/Video internship program takes place
this Spring from January through May 2009. Or, if you're interested in a
Summer Internship, it runs May 2009 through September 2009. We are looking for hard-working, ambitious college students willing to spend their time in a fast-paced, exciting and unique environment, learning what it takes to succeed in major-market radio.
Interns will be asked to dedicate 20-30 hours per week to the Interactive/Video department for Q101.1, the Loop 97.9 will be exposed to interactive and sales aspects of the radio stations. Interns will be responsible for various duties such as logging and capturing video, cutting recap videos for clients, shooting video on high end camcorders, creating graphics for the web and assisting department staff with various needs. On-site responsibilities will include shooting video at events, such as street festivals, concerts and various sales promotions.
A friendly, outgoing, hard-working personality is absolutely necessary. Also, one must be experienced with Final Cut Pro and basic camera operation.
