This internship program is being promoted by the Japanese government, Japanese regional economic development organizations and Japanese local universities to DePaul University students interested in participating in an internship program in Japan. In 2008, approximately 1,300 students from 55 countries participated in this program.

Under this internship program, students from foreign countries throughout the world, are welcome to participate.  Interested students who will be considered to participate must be undergraduate (junior and senior year) or graduate level.  The duration of this internship program is two years.  Chosen interns will work at a Japanese company in Japan and they will also be educated in Japanese business skills and language.

The objective of this program is to encourage foreign nationals to work for Japanese businesses in Japan, in order to sustain Japan's competitiveness in the global economy.
