Attention Undergraduate Seniors:


We are looking for creative and talented students to compete in a web design contest. Each individual will create a splash page for our company Fashion Heist. This splash page must match our company’s image. We want you to be inventive while at the same time creating a practical web page that is easy to navigate.

 What we are looking for in a splash page:

Originality

Easy to read

Cohesiveness

Fashion Focused

Rules and Regulations:

* This contest is open to graduating seniors only.

*Please include examples of portfolio work

*Deadline: All web pages must be sent via e-mail y August 29th, 2008 to one of the folloing addresses:  nicole@fashionheist.com, jenna@fashionheist.com, melanie@fashionheist.com and lslerner@mkcpr.com.

*The top 5 candidates will be chosen on September 3rd and will be brought in for interviews.

*The winner will be announced on September 5th.

*No late entries will be accepted.

*There is no collaborating with other students or professors. This is an individual contest and we would like to see what you are capable of and how creative you can be.

*We are a fashion showroom and wholesaler so we would like to see fashion incorporated into the design. §

*Proficent in Java, HTML, AJAX and Photoshop.

*The winner will be hired as our webmaster. You must be willing to accept the job and create the full website if you win.

*Photography and writing skills a plus!

Jenna Fowler and Melanie Manego founded Fashion Heist Apparel Distribution July 1, 2007. Our showroom focuses on providing specialty boutiques throughout the Midwest with quality highly-styled clothing at an affordable price point. We work directly with manufacturers to help produce a saleable line appealing to the Midwest clientele; style, fit and price point.
