Advocate Healthcare currently has an open Internship Position available for an Analyst. The position would be located with Advocate Healtcare's Support Center in their Information Systems Department, and would report to a Lead IT Support Specialist. Job Environment:This job involves significant customer phone contact.
This is a position that requires minimal supervision.
It is a fast-paced and stressful environment.
Responsibilities include supporting all aspects of the information systems environment for multiple sites of care.
This includes support and troubleshooting of computers, monitors, printers, network hardware, computer software, operating systems, server application software, and database technologies.
Minimum Skills:Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, technical, analytical, and problem solving skills, good team player, and customer service orientation.
Requires strong critical thinking skills, excellent phone etiquette, and experience dealing with difficult customers.
Experience with personal computers, printers, network hardware, Microsoft Office, electronic mail, Windows 95/98/NT/2000 and XP.
High School Diploma and 1 year of college level course work required.
