Built on a solid client-base of small and mid-sized businesses, Switchfast is seeking a student looking for a great opportunity for an internship within our company.

 

 Candidates for the Support Technician Position must possess the following abilities:

-    Setup/management of all Windows systems, infrastructure (mail, login, file, print, etc.)

-    Development and support environment setup

-    Troubleshooting of all systems related issues

-    Network maintenance (device configuration, troubleshooting, client VPN, site VPNs, etc)

-    Provisioning of new systems as required/resource allocation

-    End user support and training

-    Communicating highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel

-    Network/system security

-    Management of telecommunications (VoIP, cellular, smartphones)

-    Installing and configuring PCs and peripheral devices, using standard processes and tools

-    Providing hardware and software support for PCs, Servers and peripherals placed in the field

-    Assists other LAN Specialists with projects and initiatives, problem investigations and final resolution

-    Excellent customer service and communication skills

-    Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

-    Working towards a 4-Yr degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field
