Q: What is the average time I should allow for online students to take the exam?

A: Typically the dates assigned for online students start on the same day as the in-class section and the dates range from 3 to 7 days. You might want to make sure that there is a weekend within your exam timeline. This way, students who work long hours during the week are covered.

We recommend you use CDM's course management system COLWeb for posting your assignments and uploading further course material that should be easily accessible to your students. Once you post your assignments to COLWeb your students can easily download them and in return - submit their homework through COLWeb as well. If not other specified from you - all homework submissions will appear in your GRADEBOOK in COLWeb where you can grade them. As soon as you submit the grade for a student it will appear next to the individual assignment on the ASSIGNMENTS screen, next time the student logs into his personal COLWeb.
