Q: I forgot my password, what should I do?
A: Please note that we are NOT responsible for Campus Connection password inquiries since the password information is not stored in our system. If you forget your Campus Connection password, please
go to the Campus Connection website and click the link "Forgot your password?" or
go to ID Card services for further help.
Q: How do we handle exams?
Q: Can I have online students work on group projects?
A: Certainly, as long as the projects don't necessarily require students to all be in one place at the same time. The course management application COLWeb of Course OnLine offers collaboration tools such as e-mail, discussion forums, wikis, etc. that you can make available to your students. However, if you can't see how students living in different parts of the country would be able to complete the group project, then it may be a good idea to offer an alternative assignment to those students.
Q: How do I login to COLWeb?
A: You will log in to COLWeb at
http://col.cti.depaul.edu by using the same username and password you use to access Campus Connection. Once you are successfully logged in you will see a list of your current and previous courses and a menu with available options to the left side.
Q: What is the average time I should allow for online students to take the exam?
A: Typically the dates assigned for online students start on the same day as the in-class section and the dates range from 3 to 7 days. You might want to make sure that there is a weekend within your exam timeline. This way, students who work long hours during the week are covered.
