Exam Procedures - Student Responsibilities

Q: How will I turn in my homework?

A: Ask your instructor. Most types of homework can be submitted through COLWeb, Course OnLine's course management application that will be provided for your instructor’s use. However, your instructor may prefer that you e-mail or fax your homework instead.

You are responsible for any fees incurred with the administration of your exam:

  • Including postage to return the exam
  • Also be aware that you may be charged a fee by your proctor. These practices vary among colleges, universities, and private testing centers.

Once your instructor has posted the exam paper:

  1. You receive an e-mail notification to register for your exam.
  2. Register for your exam via COLWeb - including all of your proctor's contact information. 
  3. Your exam and instruction sheet is e-mailed or faxed to your proctor.
  4. You'll receive an e-mail confirming that your exam has been sent to your proctor. (It is your responsibility to contact your proctor to verify the receipt of your exam.)
  5. Your proctor faxes your completed exam back to us and it is immediately forwarded to your instructor for grading.
