Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the average time I should allow for online students to take the exam?

A: Typically the dates assigned for online students start on the same day as the in-class section and the dates range from 3 to 7 days. You might want to make sure that there is a weekend within your exam timeline. This way, students who work long hours during the week are covered.

Page Summary
The VIEW DOCUMENTS page displays all your uploaded documents for your course (group). The DOCUMENTS OVERVIEW box on top contains a quick summary of how many documents you have posted so far and how many of them currently are unavailable to your students, because you set the AVAILABILITY DATE to a date in the future.

From this page you may >> Add, Edit Or Remove A Document

List Viewing Types:
You may change the way your documents are displayed by choosing between:

  •  Flat List simply displays all your documents in chronological order. You can change the order as you like by clicking on any of the underlined column titles.

  •  Grouped by Topic means, you will see your documents grouped together if they have the same topic. Each topic is grouped in an expandable and collapsible list. Topic groups with only a single item will appear expanded by default. Items with no topic assigned will also be grouped together.

Detailed Description of Document List Columns:
Some documents in the list may have the following icon  prior to the document name, meaning these documents are NOT AVAILABLE TO YOUR STUDENTS yet. In order to change that click on the EDIT button next to the individual document and modify the AVAILABILITY DATE to the current or any preferred date.

  • Document: This is where the title of your document is displayed along with your description if you choose to input one.

  • File: If your document has a file attached you will view an icon displayed here. Click the icon to view or download the attachment. Note: Not every document will have a file attached to it.

  • Topic: Only appears in the FLAT LIST view. This section diplays the TOPIC of your document if you choose to input one.

  • Last Updated: This column displays the date and time the specific document was last updated by you.
