In the Announcements, Assignments, Documents, FAQs, and Useful Links sections of COLWeb you'll see a button toward the bottom of the listing page called "Edit Owner Rankings". 

You can use this feature to customize the order in which items on that page appear on the initial page view.

To do so, first click "Edit Owner Rankings".  The page will refresh, but this time to the left of every item that you own you'll see a textbox.

In this textbox is where you can set the "Owner Rank" for an item.  Items will then be sorted from lowest to highest Owner Rank for all users on the page's initial page load.

After you've set your Owner Ranks for all the items, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Submit Rank Changes".
