HCI/IM student networking  in partnership with herCDM is holding a special event with guest speaker Carolyn Chandler in a discussion about managing design projects. This is an excellent opportunity to hear from a professional and for networking purposes.

As the co-author of a new book on user experience design, Carolyn will teach us best practice guidelines for implementing successful projects. As she shares her journey of publishing a book from start to finish, we will gain access to many tips and tricks of the trade!

We are inviting all undergraduate and graduate students for an opportunity to network and discuss current topics in interactive media, interaction design and usability....

About the Speaker:
Carolyn Chandler leads the User Experience practice for Manifest Digital, an interactive marketing and design firm based in Chicago's west loop. Carolyn has worked in the field of User Experience since 1996, alternating between software development and Web site design, each of which bring their own interesting challenges. Areas of focus include usability engineering, information architecture, and interaction design.
