Campus MovieFest Competition for DePaul Students...
Mar-17
2009
Come join hundreds of students and grab everything you'll need to make a movie in a week...All for FREE!
Campus MovieFest is a totally free film competition brought to you by DAB, Residential Education, and Campus Movie Fest. Students of all educational backgrounds are encouraged to make a five minute film about whatever they want. Here is how it works:
Campus MovieFest will come to the Lincoln Park Student Center Atrium on March 31, 2009 and provide students with camcorders, mac books, and video editing software.
Students are then give 1 week to create and edit a five minute movie (CMF reps will be available to help with editing and other questions throughout the week).
Submissions are due on April 7, 2009 in the Lincoln Park Student Center Atrium.
Then on April 15, 2009 we will view the top films at a DePaul Film Festival Event in the MPR at 7:30pm where we will give out prizes and awards to some of the film makers.

"Campus MovieFest is for all students, not just filmmakers, because the technology is now incredibly easy to use while creating powerful short movies. CMF provides students with the latest Apple laptop computers with iMovie and Final Cut Pro editing software. Students also receive handheld digital camcorders, tripods, microphones, and even AT&T phones to help with their movie-making."
